Congrats to the Association, Board and Brenda on getting this new website up and running! From the looks of it, we are well on our way to becoming the class of the industry! As with any new project, there are going to be bumps along the way. Please take some time to cruise around and find them! If you do, post a reply here and let BIGTUNA know what you found!

    BIGTUNA,
Any chance of having the log in on the home page? Would be nice to log in right away and then be able to access the secure areas of the site with just a click. Right now it seems to make you re-enter your user name and password each time you enter an area.

    BIGTUNA,

Any chance of the forum automatically notifying members of replies to topics or better yet giving the option of being notified?

    BIGTUNA,

In the forum section, can we create speckifc tabs for "equipment for sale" Gerneral Topics" "Disease" or other categories so everything isn't in one place? Or is that something that will develope over time?

  5. Hey Steven,

Really appreciate the feedback. I added "utility links" to the header of the site. These will include login links to the membership center and the forum.

As far as the automatic notifications, we have RSS setup on the site. You can subscribe to RSS feed and will be notified of any new updates. For the forum, each different section has an RSS Feed. Same principles apply here, if you subscribe, you'll be notified automatically. You must have an RSS reader though. My recommendation is the Google reader, but there's plenty out there.

As far as the forum, I just created some different sections to keep it clean. In the future, forum moderators will be able to add new sections as needed.

Please keep the feedback coming. Our goal is to make this the best Superintendents Association Site out there.
